Scania 110 near Barry, South Wales.
Blimey that poor old girls got a bit of worm in her 
need a bit more than a tin of plastic padding. 
This Gem is resting in a yard nr to where i live, a 1960 AEC Mammoth Major reg ; 6160 MP.
Maybe someone has some info on her or the company…

All different places in the last year or two.
the Atki gritter is in a field in Shropshire - shortly to be up for sale at auction, I think
the Mandator in a forestry yard near Droitwich
the Reiver was in a smallholding near Horsey MIll on the Norfolk coast - now gone and the site cleared - not sure if it got chopped.
the crane and the KM are behind a garage in south Norfolk - near Wymondham
And the Bear is at a garage in Nottingham.

They don’t look to far gone do they, let’s hope somebody saves them.
I couldn’t quite belive this place when I finaly found it,there were bits of Volvo in the long grass every where,it looked more like a battle field than a grave yard.
Good thread, if I win the lotto I would save them all.

L.M.Vass, Scrapyard, Ampthill,Bedfordshire, 1988. Just after they had but a new road through the back of the yard, to get to the new Asphalt Plant that Tarmac had just opened…
Never got no pictures, but i remember an old National petrol 8 legger Seddon Atki400 tanker- somewhere 
on the A148 between Kings Lynn & Cromer parked in a garage that was there for years ,would love to know what happened to it .

You’ll need some good welding skills and detective skills to track it down and put it together again!
