The grass wasn't greener

Do you have a co worker who left and come back because the grass wasn’t greener ?

Can we have a limper opt out please!

If you leave on good terms what’s the problem lol

No

Yeah. Almost exactly a year after he left he came back.

Nope. I’m glad I left my last lot. Starting a new on the Monday.

Yes,despite being told many times that he wouldn’t find an easier job :unamused: :unamused:

No problems at all we all make mistakes and it take a crap job to make you see your mistake

A year :exclamation: my mate lasted 4 days, before he realised that 60 hours a week was considerably longer than 40

Iv done it myself but there’s a reason why you look elsewhere to begin with and its normally not the same once u go back

Yeah, me

I have only been driving for 8yrs and been at my current job for about 2.5yrs but I already know im on to a good one that suits me. A few drivers where I am have come back after finding the new job didn’t suit them.

I find people get to hung up on hourly pay sometimes, I don’t see the point in doing a job you hate to earn 50p an hour more then a job you like.

Just wait until I send in my application then mate! :grimacing:

I did it, fancied a change after 9 years at same place. Got promised the world at the interview and ended up getting maxed out hours when I got told it was day work, no parking paid etc. Went back to my old place after 2 weeks. Although now I’ve left again as when I went back they kept me on as though I’d never left but have just decided that I should be put back on new starter rate of pay in a new pay structure which saw me get 20p an hour raise when I would’ve been getting £1.20 an hour more and every other driver is getting minimum 50p an hour extra.
Enjoying the new job luckily, being treat like a human and on more than I would’ve been on the higher rate

You’re not far down the road from me mate, but it’s probably not what I’m looking to loose the limp for.
Plus I wouldn’t want to have to do a stint in that white Iveco to prove myself first!

And I’ve a few other options I’m currently looking at that are a probably more in tune with what I THINK suits me.
But until I try them I won’t know…
