Everyone knows the` Rappersâ !
That snap of the KW. That was owned by Walti Neve an ex-Hangartner driver & he made good money out of it. It had a â â â â â â â engine. The next KW he got was a 2 axle KW flat top with a Detroit Diesel. That kept breaking down & finished him offâŚcash wise.
I can only find out the date of that snap by wading thru piles of junk ,so That will be later as its all packed away. It was taken in FranceâŚ
Harry Monk Thanks for that harry. There is a lot of info on that photo site that needs updatingâŚ
Superb Harry⌠Keep 'em coming

The whole world & `is bruvver knows the Rappers stories. But since he has been on UK work he seems to have reformedâŚa bit.
cracking pics harry that blue road commander is a beuty
A Swiss O/D was the first to have it . He paid the first months rent then ran it non-stop for about 8 months Swiss /Portugal with no service or repairsâŚUntil the firm I was working for snatched it back. When bits fell off the only place to get spares was in Swiss. I didnt keep it long. It was so uncomfortable on the old roads in Spain & Portugal I jacked in rather than drive it. You might see a red ,white & blue DAF road train amongst the snaps , that was my truck. Very comfortable & no probs. Then a Swiss guy came along who couldn
t do his regular job as a washing machine repair man anymore because his knees were gone. He couldnt drive an artic.....So I ended up with the White..Trouble was that when I went down South with the motor all the locals knew the O/D & thought I had put him out of a job...Me being English
an all!
It was great for motorways & Photo shootsâŚ
