The eu referendum- how do you intend to vote?

Radar19:
EU referendum: Brexit sparks calls for other EU votes - BBC News

Calls for a vote across the EU is growing.

But the people demanding this are not the people in position to grant referendums.
It’s a bit like someone quoting Farage of the UKIP saying there should be a referendum (before we got one)
You do maybe get a feeling that the mood across Europe may be shifting.

I have found this post which speaks volumes of the EU’s senior figures attitude towards member states (can’t confirm if a genuine quote as taken from Twitter but no reason for it not to be genuine)
European President Martin Schulz says there will be “consequences” for Britain so other EU countries are not “encouraged to follow that dangerous path”

Doesn’t sound very much like democracy does it.

Congratulations everyone! Some of these politicians commenting need to be hooked out the door “I’m disgusted” “I’m disappointed”

We live in a ■■■■■■■ democracy the people have spoken. Shut your cake hole.

Yay, I’ll be doing some shopping this weekend, buying all sorts of necessary and unnecessary crap from british ebay, due to the cheap as chips poundsterling. Not concerned with the long term effects of Brexit, as short term profit is all I can concern myself with :unamused:

Fill ya boots pal!

YOU do what’s best for YOU and benefits YOU!!!
And in doing that, don’t have a dig at people that do what’s best for them, as that would be hypocritical!

Well I surely intend do, but as far as Brexit goes, I am definitely not going to claim to have enough knowledge to side with either side, in what’s best for the UK. I’m just going to sit back with a beer in my hand and see what happens :sunglasses:

Merckel’s just spoken: I paraphrase but she basically said “You zb’s”! :stuck_out_tongue:

Not even half 6 and the French and Dutch are calling for referendums. We can add the eu to the celebrity death list for this year :stuck_out_tongue:

Where you getting that info from? Would like to have a read of some non UK papers

Nick Ferarri announced it on LBC

Are you listening to Sanctimonious O`Brien this morning, Jesus Christ, anybody would think that the queen had died

I love listening to mystery hour but can’t listen to him the rest of the time when it involves politics. There’s also another fella I quite respect on Twitter who was acting like the world had ended this morning. Claiming they couldn’t go to work because they were so upset at the result.
TBH I think JO’B would throw a party if the queen did die!

I normally turn him off, but couldn’t resist him whining at taking one in the eye. To be honest, the only leftie I can listen too on there is Iain Dale. Maybe it’s because he’s gay so he has a personal view, so remains unbiased, rather than yoghurt knitters like O’Brian who feel they need to carry the offence of the world on themselves

I wouldn’t say Dale is a leftie. He used to be a conservative MP and throughout this referendum gave very little away about his vote until after 10pm last night when he confirmed he voted to leave. He has the political clout still to get decent guests in and challenges them all even if their views match his. Did you hear him break down last week when he read out Brendan Cox’s statement about the murder of his wife? I think Dale, Ferrari and Ian Collins are the best presenters the station had - Ian Collins especially.

I bet Talk Sports’ much missed Mike Dickin is laughing heartily with Fred Dibnah somewhere.

Totally agree about those 3. Maybe dale just comes over slightly left. I don’t know

So now a vote of no confidence in Corbyn. Could his be the next head to roll?

Who says politics is boring?

A fancy dress shop in Witney has put a 50% discount on Cameron masks. And the shop is called “Laughing Stock.”

Knowing these muppets they’ll probably ditch Corbyn and bring back Blair. That’s their idea of ‘listening’ to their electorate. :unamused:

Well he is looking for a new job as of this morning  :sunglasses:

Can I just say that I am glad I was wrong.
I said I would vote brexit but was sure that the remain would swing it.

If we make mistakes at least we can say it was us.
Very happy indeed

Yep the future maybe uncertain but it is ours to shape and we can be safe in the knowledge our children and children’s children will enjoy more control than we ever did.

Or not. Time will tell.

Now if England could win the Euros that would be epic for Irony purposes.

Can I still play the Euro lottery

you can still play it and win it but you wont get any money.your winnings will go to the eu bailout as a punishment for jumping off a sinking ship   .hth.
