Hello Duncan Bladen
That’s right, it hasn’t.
Stobart’s decided to take the reg plate off it just before it left service with the company, when it become a yard only shunter.
Prior to that, it did do runs around the Industrial Estate at Kingstown shunting trailers back and forward to and from Stobart yards.
The reg should be: R889 OHH: Fleet No. H889: Name: Judith:
Heres a photo of it with the reg plate

Im not normally a Eddie Spotter but just done a trip Lincs to Cornwall (away Tues back Friday) and didn’t see a single Eddie in either direction. Have they all had the Bank Holiday week off??
Hello Tafty
That’s very interesting marra.
They do work after Bank Holidays as the business is 24/7, 365 days a year
I’ve actually seen more over this Bank Holiday week than I’ve spotted in the past month (according to my records)
I suspect that they just weren’t out on the roads at the same time as your good self and maybe they didn’t have any jobs that needed them to travel along the roads as your self.
I see you are new to Trucknet, so may I be the first to welcome you to Trucknet.
I will look forward to reading your future posts
Kindest regards

Not a current Stobart unit but this is a Scania highline we have on the firm from Walton Summit Scania from Scanias rental fleet. All it needs is for a bit of black paint and it could join the fleet. Im sure many of you will have photos of it in service. Just thought it would show where some of there units are ending up. We also have an ex-Stobbie curtainside on hire from m.t.s. trailers at Skelmersdale.

PK10 WKE was H5523: Aimie Ellie; A Widnes Container Hub based Scania R440
I personally have no photos of the wagon (despite having photos of sister fleet number trucks), but here’s a link to a photo of PK10 WKE when in service with ESL
