There has been three new Biomass Scania R’s enter service lately, including one based at Penrith

Unfortunately, I can’t tell you anything about PN13 BNL as according to Stobarts, it hasn’t entered service.
This is the same for at least 4 that I know of that are 13 reg.

So as I get any info marra, I’ll let you know

Yes, Stobart Biomass have got quite a few based at Penrith Truckstop now (along with the rest of the Penrith fleet with recently moved from Bulman’s yard).

Which wagon does your Dad drive? Has he got one of the new 13 reg’s that are at Penrith?

Yes it is a Biomass one, my son has just transfered over to Chelford from T/Park along with another T/Park driver and this is the truck he’s been given.Apparently the regular driver was taken ill last week and is going to be on the sick for a while.

Right. Actually, they’ve moved a few lads from Carlisle over to Penrith to work on the Biomass recently who used to drive the drawbars out of CMB.

Stobart’s seem to have recently lost some of there loyal owner drivers and some of the long standing owner drivers have reduced there fleets.

This has seen the owner of the Renault Magnum sell his smart vehicle on. But, I am under the impression he will be buying a new vehicle soon.

Also, Stobarts have seen another 8 new Scania R450’s enter service on the Biomass fleet. Most are based at Swindon but smaller numbers are based at Penrith and Appleton.
