The big big question

What do you think the result of the EU referendum will be?

Feel free to say just in or out or if you are really brave give us percentages.

ANOTHER ■■■■■■■ EU thread? Good god man, are there not enough on the go already?

Current Betting: (Best opinion poll known to man)

Remain winning by 55/45%

Online Polls: Brexit winning 58/42. Not a healthy enough margin for it to be “smooth” though.
Newspaper Polls: Remain still ahead, but 52/42/with only 6% undecided now, thanks to the events of the past week fed in by this point.

Think Tanks, “Official” pollsters - Don’t believe their polls, as they have this bad habit of only asking small samples of people in polarized areas of opinion. They’d do better asking people AT work rather than “at lunch” or “on their way home” or “shopping with the wife”… :sunglasses: :grimacing:

Probably the in campaign will win.Which is maybe a good thing. :open_mouth: .Because then Europe can get down to settling the real coming fight between Nationalism and Federalism/Socialism which it will take to stop the obvious attempt by the Socialists to infiltrate and take over Europe. On that note Brexit alone probably wouldn’t be enough to stop that.In which case it’ll be united European Nationalist groups v Socialist.IE be careful what you wish for. :bulb:

There are, but they’ve all been hijacked by Carryfast with his ism’s. Oh ■■■■■■■■, he’s on this one now. :unamused: :unamused:

Anyway, I predict 54 out/46 in.

Wing-nut - that’s dangerously close to what I said. Carryfast is using the F word again as well, after I talk about how irritating that is. :stuck_out_tongue:

What IS the world coming to? :unamused:

World War 3, that’s what.

although i’m voting ‘Leave’,i can’t see us winning :frowning: :frowning: :frowning:

but at least we’ll be avoiding 860,000 job losses,Armageddon and WW3,and the Dinosaurs making a come back and eating my grand-children

Don’t worry about the grand children Remain claim we’ll all be secretly sterilised following brexit shi unless you’ve already got them, no worries. [WINKING FACE]

It has got to be out. If the remain vote win then it will be through corrupt polling. I have asked over 100 people I know of all ages and professions and only 2 have said they are for remain, each and every other said out straight away with no hesitation.

The polls all have remain in the lead. In my work I’d say it’s probably a 50/50 split in opinion. I think where you are in the country that split of opinion varies wildly.

The only way I can see leave win is if a large proportion of remain voters are complacent and don’t bother voting.

I don’t personally know anyone in favour of remaining, but BMW are trying to put the frighteners on people in Oxford, basically saying they should vote remain to help secure the future of the Mini plant. Personally I couldn’t give a toss about Cowley works or BMW and their overpriced cars.

I thought that the issue between the Nation State as opposed to a Socialist run USE was the most important part of the campaign. But what would I know.In which case feel free to remove that issue from the proceedings.

As I said then guaranteeing the in vote anyway and leaving that argument to be settled on a Europe wide basis later, probably when none,or not many of us,are around to see it.The example of Yugoslavia in that case obviously applies. :open_mouth: :unamused:

There’s a massive housing shortage in Oxford, caused by the University and CPRE objecting to anything that isn’t unaffordable. So if the Krauts throw a wobbly and shut Cowley then there’s a nice brownfield site to build on.
Imagine, “Marina Close, Minor Way, Allegro Avenue.” Actually don’t nobody would want to live in those places.

Leave only need to find the Remainers that apparently outnumber us, but are as scarce on the ground as rocking horse ■■■.

I only know two people who are not officials of some kind who intend voting Remain - A scientist and an artist. Both get funding from the EU in their perception, so at least I can understand where they are coming from.
I don’t understand who the other 33m people are though. There was a rumour that a trio of them drove down the high street yesterday - but I’m sure that’s just a rumour! :stuck_out_tongue:

There’s plenty that don’t want to leave it to chance though.

Deference is dead. It’s time to do something before some foreign git we thought we beat in two world wars - comes back and “deads us” with that deference.

Of course if all the eastern Europeans that live here manage to get a translator to explain the voting system to them cos it is slightly different to the Russian one they were brought up on the result will definitely be Remain.
However I am an Englishman get me the **** out of here!

Which as I said means destroying the lie that war in Europe was the result of the aggression of the Nation State against the Federation. When the truth is vice versa ( third Reich or Austro Hungarian Empire in your examples ).But could just as easily have been Soviet Union’s alliance with Hitler against Poland or the JNA against Slovenia and Croatia or Napoleon trying the same thing before.Or for that matter the UK trying to stop the secession of Ireland.

New poll out puts leave at 55% :open_mouth: :open_mouth: :open_mouth:
