You know where I work in Gloucester and it’s hard work getting 2 loads done a day. Often you get tipped about lunch time and then you rush back to be tipped by 6pm. 5hrs drive for two trips and 6hrs or more watching dvd’s ha.

Jesus - forgot about that place.

Yeah I’d say that’s one of mine.

Anywhere on the B triangle! Blackburn, Bolton & Burnley - love the people but detest delivering there - towns definitely built for t’horse & cart!

It is down to the American compensation culture, and that lady that got millions for burning herself on a hot coffee from Mcdondalds.

No it isn’t

Any 2Sisters site…

■■■■■■■■■ all of them. Inadequate parking/waiting space (mostley on street on double yellows). Tight yards full of dropped trailers.

Iceland Enfield. Don’t actually mind the place but I absolutely detest the stretch of road from the A10 to it, and back out again. I’ve gone in every different way possible to avoid it, but sometimes you just have to go that way. Once took me over an hour to do that 3 bloody miles! :imp:

Buckingham palace. Security are a nightmare.

True, it isn’t, but it certainly isn’t an example of compensation gone mad. She didn’t get ‘millions’. The coffee was ‘dangerously’ hot beyond that which could reasonably be expected, and McDonalds had previous incidents but paid off the complainers to keep them quiet.

Ain’t it amazing how a spilled hot coffee can cost you $3 million. :unamused:

Dugdales in Sowerby Bridge, starting to break out in to a cold sweat even typing this

My favourite is the grotty little service yard for st Pancras station off Midland road. It’s right next to a taxi rank and you have to go in backwards, which with the heavy traffic can make it tricky. And as you reverse it through the hole, you begin to realise that the whole yard is rammed wall to wall with bins of festering crud and the whole thing stinks to high heaven of rotting food and rat droppings, and there is no way you can get round on into the bay unless you either hop out the cab and play tetris with these stinking bins to make a route through or gently smash them out of the way and hope for the best. I’ve been there a few times and it’s always the same.

There is another one for Clapham junction station that is totally rat infested, similar thing, reverse in off St John’s and through a gate into a humanitarian crisis, these massive jack Russell sized rats all over the place not even scared of the boot, they are so brazen they square up at you rather than run. Might chuck that one back if they send me there again.

Anything to be delivered to any shop in the Elephant & Castle shopping centre. :frowning:

Once you enter through this arch - you cannot turn around, because there’s always some skips/bales/white van parked right where you need to shunt back to, to get even an urban trailer around. :imp:

Bearing in mind that people who get killed - barely raise a million from a successful court action by their families.

I think when newspapers report “Millions” they mean “that’s how much all the admin, court officialdom, & wasted time cost in grand total”.
The actual successfully litigating individual might have got £7,500 or thereabouts… :unamused:
