This is a bit random but I just applied online for a job at tesco , blew the online questionnaire so couldn’t move on with the application , just wanna know if anyone else has done this, and can u do it again ( bloody stupid questions too)
I don’t know anything about the Tesco system. But surely it’s worth having another go?
Pete
Keep trying but I’m logged in to the system and it won’t let me do it again
As I said, I’m not familiar with this one. But could you try logging in again, maybe missing out your middle name (or adding it if you didn’t use it before). Can you manipulate your address at all eg using a bigger local town or city in the address.
Just a matter of making the data different but still accurate. Give it a go. Nothing to loose.

Try clearing your browser cache and cookies to clear that you are logged in. Then use a different email address to make a new account and try it that way.
Couldn’t do it m8
Each to their own but wouldn’t entertain them tbh. When somebody wants to know your name that sets of alarm bells in my head
Wouldn’t let me continue either
I managed to get in again using my wife’s email , I let her answer the questions coz she’s a bit of a brain box , and guess what she blew it too . What the f…k are they looking for she said ( nose a bit put out of joint me thinks) it’s a driving job…
And to add , if anyone thinks that’s tricky don’t try asda
Is it a daft “admin question” like location (distance from workplace), notice required or the like that’s causing both you and your other half to fail?
Lol great to know that after spending £■■■ on training, getting your application in is extremely difficult,
Good times,
I’m really curious as to what is in this questionnaire that makes it so hard?!
most likely its because you cant use a crayon online…but look on the bright side, surely the fact you failed the questionnaire with Tesco must be a bonus if you are looking for a job driving trucks elsewhere?
I wish I knew what they were after , they were all relating to deliveries really , all multiple choice but with answers that could have had 1 or more right answer .i thought I was thick that’s why I got mum to do it for a different perspective , but as I said she blew it too so maybe not .maybe I will try again in six months .even if you get through the test you have to sit a dsa theory test and get at least 85% , all to drive a truck !!!
Sounds like a bit of a ball ache. It’s a bit like applying for a job as a postie, they make you do all sorts of questionnaires
I reckon your bang on there , could go the agency route , they want them to at the rainham depot but I’d much prefer a real job really
I had a funny one the other day, for a job with a frozen foods chain. The online form only asked for name, contact details, licence category, and distance from depot. I filled it out, clicked the top button for over 20 miles from the depot, and pressed continue. The next page said that I hadn’t met the criteria, so I couldn’t proceed with the application.
It couldn’t have been my licence category that caused the problem, as I have Cat CE, DQC and Tacho Card, so it must have been the distance from the depot where it excluded me. If you’re willing to drive and commute there, I don’t see what the problem is?
In my area, Tesco’s transport is run by a well-known, national haulage company, and I know for a fact that every agency, no matter how big or small has their hand in. A directly-employed job would be much more secure, but I imagine they’re quite scarce, given how many agencies are piling-in with their drivers.
I’m intrigued!!!
Any chance you can PM me the link pal, I’ll see if I can do just as bad!
Not that i want to do supermarket work…
Down our way all the agency jobs at tesco are through trg I’m led to believe and according to the advert ““there are permanent jobs available to good drivers”” whatever that’s supposed to mean , more than likely 2 years on the agency kissing ■■■■ . As I said it’s not really what I’m after , even though I’m a newby I’m not young and I’ve got a job so if I’m gonna pack it up its gonna be for a '‘real job’ notjust days here and there as that’s no good to me
I’m not good with computers sorry , but I found it on indeed , just tap in Tesco Lgv driver in the box and rainham in the location box and go from there , wouldn’t say it was hard just don’t know what there after
