I notice that Tesco are going to get a slating from Labour over employing foreign workers .They are accused of moving a DC to kent to make it easier to employ cheap foreign labour ,needless to say that Tesco deny this but they also deny having a DC in Kent .I thought they had one just outside of Maidstone or has that one closed ?
I doubt they’re worried too much about a tut-tutting from the adolescent Milliband.
Was it Denis Healey that said something about being savaged by a dead sheep?
Did they have one at snodland Kent or has that one gone? where is the new one? that employs the polish.

That’s the one i’m enquiring about and iirc it is run by Wincanton so may be the reason why Tesco deny any existance of it as one of their DC’s
How can labour have ago at anyone for using none British workers when it was labour that open the flood gates for them to come in in the first place ■■

Labour have a habit of forgetting what their policies where during their tenure ,very convenient
So what do Labour think, these people get themselves across Europe and get off the boat in Dover and then seem inable to get through the Dartford Tunnel.
In fact I’m sure many fly into Stanstead on cheap flights, so perhaps labour should be praising Tescos for moving their RDC away from Harlow, that’ll fox them pesky migrant workers having to go another 50 miles.
If they’re here legally and want the work, I don’t see a problem. Now wether they should have been let in, in the first place is a different conversation.
A friend of mine kicked a ■■■■■■■■■ bag in a lay bye on top of the hill coming out of Dover.
In it was a six berth tent with the pole bag next to it.
Apparently they (the illegals) use them to travel across Europe then dump them when they get here…
He got a 120 quid tent as he looked on eBay for eff all.
Good old Labour, stating the bleeding obvious conveniently forgetting their war monger was in charge during the peak import of cheap labour days, egged on by the unions who fail to see the irony whilst stabbing the British worker who pays their salaries and pensions in the back.
Good old Tories, cheap imports still arriving by the plane and boat load, and Tories paymasters making £millions out of exploiting those cheap workers.
Yah Boo…nothing changes, not one of the traitorous swine take responsibility for their share of the destruction of Britain, and not one of them would be saying a bloody word about if they weren’t running scared of Farage and UKIP.
As for Tesco, never shop there, never will.
One of the first big companies to deliberately bring in the flip flops to drive (well point in the general direction) their lorries, you don’t reward that sort of thing by giving them your business.

That’s been there for years. Long before the big influx of Eastern Europeans.

No it hasn’t ,Tesco say they have no distribution center in kent ,so that big building here lpp-uk.com/our-portfolio/maidstone/ is just a figment of our imagination and the 300 odd staff that work there don’t exist
The firm has already hit back, denying having a distribution centre in the county and insisting it does not actively seek to recruit abroad.
“In a speech on Monday, he is expected to claim Tesco moved its distribution centre to Kent where a “large percentage” of the staff are from the eastern bloc”
So when did they move it there and where from?
They are talking about the new “Kent DC” which happens to be in Dagenham which the last time I looked was in Essex

That was my 1st thought as well, pot and kettle comes to mind.
Typical labour rubbish
Is there anywhere left in England where a DC can be built, that’s not going to have more than its fair share of Eastern Europeans living in its local vicinity■■?
I work at the Reading DC and yes it’s got some Eastern Europeans working in it, but no more than was working in DC’s that I used to go to when I lived in Yorkshire.
Next are another company that’s going to get a mention from the Labour muppet, accusing them of importing poles in to get around the AWR rules

that’s just even more baffling

On a tesco contract & I wouldn’t be surprised if tesco didn’t have a say in it…

Well said…
My argument always will be that tesco is ■■■■!
If you aren’t from the eastern bloc then don’t expect a ‘proper job’ with the majority of companies in the UK, after all they don’t call it the United Kingdom of Poland & Lithuania for nothing… I wonder who these “jobs” are aimed at!?
