Has anyone ever seen one of there motors without damage on it ■■?
If a firm lets it’s trucks look as tatty as they do it says something about the firm in my view.
My personal favorite is the Cabs with different colour doors very classy

I saw one like that today. 02 plate Merc rigid. Looked like it’d been to Uranus and back and had a bad time in the asteroid belt. Twice.

They’re all muppets. I remember when I did papers into Scunthorpe one night one of them was trying to back out and destroyed a stone lamp post with his trailer. The following night a different driver was there and he managed to blow out all 3 trailer tyres trying to reverse round a kerb. At another place in Wakefield, one of them decided to have a night out opposite the tight entrance to a 24hr print works thus preventing anything bigger than a van getting in or out without driving over the flower beds. The company were less than uninterested when phoned up asking what they were going to do about it so we took matters into our own hands and woke him up at 2am to get him to shift which was unsurprisingly met with a barrage of abuse as he apparently couldn’t see what the problem was. If you don’t have a Stobrats depot nearby and want to see all the thick ■■■■ drivers in one place then Taylors Transport yard is where you want to be.
Left hand down!:

Also worth pointing out that these were the boy’s that broke the striking Tesco drivers at Doncaster!
Hey, I’m a complete newbie, looking for my first driving job (cat c), Taylors have got loadsa job ads online but after reading this… eek! Any recommendations of where/who I should be looking for a job? Notts area
If you are completely new, then one of the facts of trucking life is that you will most likely find yourself either in less desirable jobs or on agency for a year or two before being able to move on to the better stuff. If you do have to bite the bullet and go down the ‘employer of last resort’ route, grin and bear it and under no circumstances let them push you or rush you.
They’re often the kind of firms where you have to kill someone (metaphorically speaking…) to get sacked from anyway so you’re not going to get the bullet on a whim. Stick it for a while, get the experience and move on.

I’ve been thinking that and am happy to do the less desirable jobs to gain experience, as long as those jobs aren’t going to jeopardize my licence (have heard some scary stories about trucks that are not roadworthy, having to drive for too long etc surely that sorta stuff is gonna come back and bite the driver in the ■■■■?)
