This is Berties Grandfather offering sympathy

Good to see your ok Luke and Bertie :sunglasses: The Magnum doesnt look too bad though

Thank you everyone for your brilliant messages. They really have made all the difference. Yesterday morning I had my head in my hands in tears thinking I never want to drive a truck again. But with Virginias calm and positive reaction and all the messages I feel much much better. Got a tidy red R480 to drive for a few days. Ship out Rosslare in morning for Newport Friday so will be home tomorrow night which will be nice. I’ll post a new blog update in morning with pictures and a Magnum review! Thank you.

The burning question(for me at least) is how long did it take you to move ‘house’?

I always wanted a Magnum

(I’ll get in trouble for coming out about that)

Good luck Switch

I left most of my stuff in my truck as I’ll be back in it in a few days. But when I swapped trucks last time into mine when it was new it took 4 hours!

Sorry to hear about your spot of bad luck Luke,i’d have needed new undercrackers after it slide to an halt!
Good on Virginia for being so supportive to you when your pride’s taken a bit of a battering, just what you needed at this time and like you say,how many top Gaffers would come out and give you an hand helping to handball the load, shows the mettle of them i think personally.
I know what you mean about taking a pride in your job and your truck though and no one can knock you for dedication to the job and the company.
You and Holly will soon be back on the road together.

Oh and Bertie, pull yourself together you wimp!!!

Been there, done that. Its not nice, although the lack of damage is incredible. :sunglasses: No drama, you’ll get back into the swing of things soon enough and it will all just be a distant memory.

Crack on driver and get that camera rolling while you’re at it!

Glad to hear you’re alright drive,
Not only a luck landing, but obviously a professional recovery - damage free - nice to see.

Well done. Now crack on…

glad you’re ok luke .
thats 2 people i know who have both ended up in ditches this week and both got away without a scratch, steady now chaps lets not have anymore, its slippery out there and we got to go home for christmas .

Glad you are okay Luke, me and my 6 year old son really enjoy your vids, keep up the good work.

Any truth in the rumour that it was Bertie driving and you were asleep on the bunk■■?

John.

Glad to hear your OK.

Cheer up Switchy, so you fell off the side of the road, so what? You’re ok and you didn’t kill anyone, it could’ve been worse.

When bad things happen to me, I like to think “…well atleast I’m not being brutally gang raped by a pack of violent wild horses”.

Remember, there’s always someone somewhere having a worse time than you, unless ofcourse you are that man who is being brutally gang raped by a pack of violent wild horses, in which case just grit your teeth and try to enjoy it for what it is.

Mr Crab seems to be getting over excited again, must be the thought of getting brutally gang raped be his colleagues at the ■■■■■■ agency cos it ain’t for sure by a herd of non violent horses, sorry to shatter your dreams buddy boy,  .
Mind you if you can rustle up the air fair I have a 3 yr old Clydesdale who’s always up for some sport, sure the results would give your girlfriend a break for a while,  :unamused: :exclamation:  :bulb:

flat to the mat:
I have a 3 yr old Clydesdale

WTF has a 16ton Leyland lorry got to do with anything? I mean, come on, I like lorries, but that’s taking it too far :unamused:

Old Mr Crab would prefer to be rammed by a 16 ton truck rather than having Frankie breathing down his neck giving it what for

I’ve got a joke to put everybody off their breakfast and it goes a little something like this:

I was just talking to my mum and her battery went dead…
…so I finished her off with my fingers.

Ladies & Gentlemen, thanks for coming. I’ve been SmashedCrabFace, I’m here all week.

Let’s get back on topic now and continue the discussion about Switchlightoff and his Lego companion Bertie’s ordeal in an Irish ditch.

You are one sick crab, and I’m certain that Luke appreciates the diversion from recent events.
Hmmm,Hollandaise
