Now some of you guys are misinterpreting my comments. I’m all for this stuff, you know like truckers passing their tests and stuff and being keen etc. and i love anything like this thats positive for our proffesion

Well thats good, it can only raise your profile. A good tip from me would be to find some trucking websites and put the word out about yourself.

And it is the reason why i could never see anything to ■■■■■ about concerning ‘girlie’ truckers.
But have seen those with their claws out. Yikes.

I passed my class 1, 2 months ago and finding it hard to get anyone to give me a chance ( i hope its cus im still a whippersnapper at 25 ) but i think ive got something in the pipeline fingers crossed, so youve done well,fair play to ya and keep up the good work, oh and just cus your a girlie,doesnt mean you can get away with not buyin the coffee if im ever sat on a bay next to ya

We all suffer from the being watched syndrome. If you’re reversing into a right awkward corner and it goes in no bother at all, you can guarantee that nobody’s watching. When you pull into a big open yard with miles of space and it takes 5 shunts (or more) to get the trailer where you want it, you can guarantee there are plenty of witnesses to see you making an arse of it.

Not that you need anyone to stick up for you sara, but aidey have a word with yourself man, does it really make any difference to the way she does her job by the fact shes got a few pictures on a website,does it make you feel less of a padded lumberjack shirt wearing big rigger just because at long last theres a pretty woman to share a chat with at the services/rdc aswell as rough and tough action man, i for one am glad that women are coming into driving (especially now im single ) as it might in the future, help the way the public see us all and the industry, oh and all these women truckers you know, if any of them are single,search the dating sites and see how many have a profile on there,having a picture on the net isnt a major thing nowadays you know.

OK so you’ve said your piece hope you feel more of a man for that and i’m sure sarah will be eternally gratful to you. and i don’t wear a lumberjack shirt i don’t mind who i talk too should i be mug enough to pay 15 quid to park on the services and i already said i don’t have a problem with women drivers but put your tounge away man before you trip over it and drench us all in spittle where you keep drooling.
can you point out where exactly i said you had a problem with women drivers, no didnt think you could cus i never said you did, and for your information im not sitting here drooling over anything or anyone, im sitting here thinking your post was pointless and pathetic,and also if you read the first sentance i did say that i wasnt sticking up for sara, because i fail to see what shes done wrong to warrant anybody sticking up for her, she has merely joined a forum to chat to fellow drivers and try and encourage a few more younger women of her age range into the industry, regardless of what they look like, and the reason she posted her website was to show us lot that she has a posative outlook on driving and has overcome boundries that might put people off becoming a driver, i just find it hard to understand why you would have a snipe at someone just because they have a few photos on a website and they happen to be young and good looking…i can put it down to 1 of 2 things
