Hello Boys and girls long time no post hope your all well
I’m literally in the **** right now and need some really good pointers. Yes i should have taken your advise and never come here. I need to know of any spanish firms based down south, malaga - algeciras who really are employing and not just send us your c.v.
I have to leave maroc and try and set up shop in espana. I’ve contacted Atransa, hispamaroc but to no avail, also tried SJL and Marcotrans with the usual send us your c.v amigo. Whenever they realise that your an english man they tend to shrug you off don’t understand why■■?
Any pointers please.

You need to ask some proper drivers in an RDC, not the ones who have done it
touché!
Is It this ‘Maes’ company you’re refering too ■■ If It Is, they’ve been taken over by the ‘Jost Group’ so you’d need to contact them

They’ve only recently been taken over by Jost.
Hi guys,
Was wondering how i would go about and trying to get a job with these firms, I may end up living in morocco if i can’t find any work in spain.
I know the above firms operate to and from morocco. Would it be best to try and contact them from here in the UK or wait untill i am out there and collar a few drivers to get the info.■■
An Englishman (or whatever you are) moved to Morocco is now looking for a driving job, Morocco to EU - that does not sound very trustworthy, does it…
So contact them now, they may not need you immediately and you don’t want to move to Morocco and be stuck there for x weeks or month without a job.
You can also check with Reibel in Munchen, Dachser, Militzer&Munch, Gondrand…
stoptrans are based in portugal and do a fair bit of UK I think they’ve got a website
davies turner are either UK owner drivers or bulgarians
maes and the other dutch firms would obviously be based in the NL and there’s plenty of lads on the forum who work in NL who might help
even though i can see africa on a clear day i can’t see what the attraction is with driving over there, poor roads, high chance of robbery and very large immigrant and drug smuggling problem.
if its for the kudos of saying you do transcontinental the middle east is a better option with better money, the good old days are gone of days on the lash in tangiers its all done by big eastern europeans like PIMK who sit their drivers in algeciras for days while putting the trailers on unaccompanied to get the rate right down
Cant give you any specific advise but if you click and read the following link it may give you a few pointers…

Thanks for all the advise people.
i mentioned morocco because morocco is not the morocco that you may or may not remember. The country has changed dramatically with regards to infastructure. There has been massive amounts of money pumped in to it. There is also the biggest port in the whole of the med just been built in tangiers. With brit firms as well as spanish, french, dutch all setting up shop over their. The way i see it is that there must be firms out there employing( euro pay). if it all goes ■■■■ up in spain then for me morocco would be the next option with regards to it’s proximity. The thing is all this info isn’t widely available on the net (africa). You have to get out their and speak to people.
Morocco as it stands now is not much different to spain believe it or not.
Oh yes it is, it’s muslim for starters.
bread is bread as far as i’m concerned.
My last boss was a yid i had no problems with that.
Whether or not morocco is a muslim country or not it has got nothing to do with the bread that’s on offer.
The last time i was there all i could hear was the english language. Spain is [zb] full stop there are no jobs out there so the next option for me is to look in morocco where the economy has not been affected by the recession.
I think your best staying where you are mate chewing on your tabacco.

maroc is VERY different to spain, for a start we have toilets you can sit on, we wash our hands after toilet duties, we treat women equally and lots more serious stuff besides.
where did you get the info that tangiers is the biggest port in the med? bigger than valencia (huge container port) barcelona (huge ferry port) and marseille (just huge)
all i see when i go to algeciras is lines of bulgarians like pimk and those green actroses on for davies turner so there is work but you need to compete with the old flipflop and sock brigade
welshboy thats my point when was the last time you went to morocco.
tangier med will be when it is fully operational which is at the end of the year the biggest port in the med it out clipses the likes of marseilles. If you go to Tarifa and stand on the balcony de africa you will see what i’m talking about.
Maersk is in control of the port and have signed numerous agreements. The spaniards are well and truly ■■■■■■ off at the fact that this port has just been built. hence the loss of buisness from spain to morocco.
Re the toilet situation i think the french also have holes in the ground and the spanish toilets are just ■■■■ holes where you wished you hasd holes in the ground. Look mate i am a man of the world who can speak different languages and have spent a lot of the time in different places. you seem to forget that spain was moroccan not so long ago and it was the arabs who taught us how to wash our hands. Hence the reason why they wash five times a day.
you also go on about the romanians and the bulgarians taking our jobs in spain they get the jobs because they can speak the lingo as well as for doing it cheaper so the [zb] what. we can’t go over to a foreign country and moan as if we are in the UK mate. Re the the women situation come on man if your living in spain i’m sure you read the paper with regards to women getting battered daily.

at what point in my post have i said they are taking “our” work? you asked about davies turner and I’m telling you what i see and what O/D’s on this forum have said about bulgarians working from uk to africa. companies like PIMK are doing a lot of europe to africa cheaper because they park up in algeciras and send trailers over, thats not knocking bulgarians its business.
I’m not moaning as if i was in the uk after all I’m a foreigner here but i work for the same rate as my spanish colleagues, i don’t work for half the money and put another man out of work, if anybody wants to work fair enough but at a fair and equal rate, something that is lacking in the UK at the moment.
as for going to morocco i loaded 16 pallets of booze 2 weeks ago in paris for tangiers and tipped them last week
its just that you might not like the answer I’m giving you when you ask about work in spain you need to be able to live on the same money that the romanians earn, why would you find a job if you are expecting more moneythan they earn? I’m lucky that I’ve worked for my boss 5 years and a spanish contract is priceless it would cost him a fortune to lay me off

■■■■ right you are very lucky. you have simply answered the question the likes of me would never ever get a contract as good as yours at the present moment in time in espana. Therefore that leads me into trying to find a contract as good as yours in another country hence morocco probably working for a spanish company in morocco do you get my drift■■?
Just out of curiosity what port in tangiers/tanger did you tip at and did you come back empty or full.
Morocco is a member of the 3rd world, they can pump whatever money they like into it but its a ■■■■ hole full of beggars & thieves & always will be IMHO.
Fly sheet

morocco was a ■■■■ hole back in the day as was spain, portugal and many other countries in fact i would go so far as to say that UK is a ■■■■■■■■ right now full of beggers and thieves otherwise you and many other people would still be there or not thinking about getting out pal.
infact i would go so far as to say that the UK is probably the richest third world country there is mate. A country where the Prime minister would be an eastern european or asian person in the near future.
i can’t remember walking down the street and hearing the english language.
Rule britannia and all that??
You sound like one of these guys that lives in Torrevieja who knows so much about Spain and the way things are done or should be done, the quicker you get a job with the marons (Moroccans) the better.
