As there has, for ever and ever and ever being a rivalry/antagonism/jealousy/competition between my great(er) island and your okay(ish) island,I`d love to see, definatively which side of the Irish see hates Stobarts more,East or West?
Have noticed over the last week that there are a bigger number of Great Bear wagons in/out of Unilever Cannock late pm/early am. Is this another contract thats going down the pan or have GB taken work from someone else? Trailers are being pulled by (mainly) plain white, newish Scanny’s,

Ah right, that explains it then! So i guess there will be more gear going in, which will mean more wagons overnighting outside on the road Think it was Monday night/Tuesday am, they were parked up the hill to the top, round the corner and all the way down (nose -tail) to the T-junction at the other end…thankfully i have not met anyone coming the other way, so have (so far) escaped the stand-off/long reverse…foot down, full beams!!
PS. Hows the man flu?
Still off! And my Mrs has “Manflu” now!
“Driver welfare is at the heart of our business. Two recent independent audits by the Road Safety Authority have found Stobart to be fully compliant with driver standards,” a statement for the company said.
I presume this means DVTANI have found stobart to be compliant.

That will be the lads out of Appleton Thorn then zodiac! The lads up there should tell them to “do it yerself” As they(management) know better than the drivers!
Couldn’t happen to a nicer bunch than the planning team at AT!

A smaller operation in Ireland and it’s Tesco Ireland specific so will be probably drivers from pre-Stobart getting in there!
