Saw something I have not seen around before a Stobart liveried Cement mixer on the A5 at Tamworth this evening, Is this another line of Business they are going into??
They have a hand in most forms of transport so that wouldnt be suprising.
Ive never seen one, has anyone got any concrete proof they exist like a photo or summat?
Was the name on the cab Mortisha ?
It was going over Hints hill towards tamworth on the Hint Bypass section about 6pm, dont normally pay any attention to stobbies motors but being a mixer caught my eye but is was in the blue livery

Thats right, Andrew Tinkler & William Stobart made their money in civil engineering, that specialises in railway maintenance, WA Developments (William & Andrew). This company is now part of the Stobart Group, known now as Stobart Rail, which still carries out work on behalf of Network Rail, & its vehicles are in blue livery, its also the arm that deals in rail freight for Tesco.
