Stobart drivers are the best

I worked for stobarts for 13/15 yrs or whatever it was , in that time I worked with I guess 100 ,s of drivers , not once did I ever here one say he was the best , like anywhere ive worked you had a few who were full of there own self importance ( but a redundancy letter brought them crashing down to earth with a bang ) , they were just drivers like anywhere else .
Nb I would say the younger ones who went through the academy were different though , very impressionable , they did seem to buy into the stobart dream

Shame they’ve blanked out the company name, now I’ll never know who they are!

Reef:

There is a common theme here, something (or someone) that linked the two companies, for the life of me I can’t think what it is though…

When I was a boy I was taught

Find nice level ground, raise unit a bit, remove yellow line, drop trailer suspension, wind legs down, apply hand brake, remove other lines, pull pin, draw forward,u till pin disengages, lower unit suspension, drive forward slowly, watch trailer carefully. Gives you time.
Yes I have got trailers praying, due to no legs down, and my don’t them Suzie’s stretch before they ping. Perfect I’m not.
