It’s a sad man that drives a truck for a living then watches TV programs about truck driving FFS.
Almost as sad as watching ‘Ice road truckers’

Nearly as sad as man who’s from the uk but lives in the usa :unamused:

nearly as sad as a man who emigrated to the USA, then goes on trucknetUK, yes UK, to tell us how great he is.

Where has he ever said how great he is?

I can’t imagine the dealership letting him have a break where he had parked and then unload the cars. If he was planning on having a break before unloading he surely would have stopped before 4hrs 29 mins

Surely running so close to 4 hours 30 mins is asking for trouble anyway■■? Bad planning? Or very good planning? Or just lucky?

You guys are forgetting, this is TV they cut and edit things to look nothing like reality
Its all about the drama, it would be even more boring without the panic and drama

has 30 mins whilst unloading a car, on tonights if you check (the car transporter bit) lol.

How does he get away with it being broadcasted ?

Quote from the programme with driving time on 4.29 it says - after a wee break he unloads 3 cars - so where is the tipping on break?

what sort of wee break did they mean  ,as he stated his bladder was telling him it was time for a break

nice to see both the tractors pull in

What some of us are in danger of forgetting-
It’s not road transport, it’s a television programme.

I said that

I watch for the ■■■■-ups/non-compliance(s) as per this thread. A few series ago the girl - Lisa I think - had a headlamp out for a couple of night shifts out of Newark!!!

I bet your fun at parties.

Yea, he was parked right in the way so I am inclined to believe he will have made the tip last 30 minutes then got out of there. All speculation though, I’m more curious as to why he felt the need to run so close to time? I hate driving against the clock and avoid it at all costs, fair enough if it’s an RDC booking time or something but i’m sure the dealership wouldn’t have been that arsed if he rolled up 30 minutes later.

It makes me laugh how they have to park (sorry, manouver inch by inch precariously between the kerb on either side of the road) right on the doorstep,of the delivery point. How long before they realise they’re delivering cars and they could park 40ft away and drive the rest of the way.

I imagine he probably thinks he would rather avoid 40ft of unnecessary driving on a public road, given any damage to those Range Rovers and the buck stops with him. Not cheap cars. Sooner they’re on the forecourt and the dealerships responsibility the better.

 :unamused: :unamused: you sad person…I often tip on break if it suits

Ditto.

I bet he gets out of the shower to take a ■■■■ too.

How’s about all that pop that was secured with just the curtains and posts■■?

I have also queried this and got flamed on this site for doing so :open_mouth:

Some company’s obviously do not conform to the FTA code of practice edition 2002
I only lasted 36minutes until I was asked to leave.

Suited me as I got a full 8hrs wage.

it’ll not move …

Oh wait … :grimacing:

Shame that’s water, there’d be a few returns there, NOT GOING BACK.

Are car dealerships nice enough to allow you a break on their sites?

A lot of you need to realise a simple saying, dont believe everything you see on TV.
