A question here might be - Who is eyeing up the Alcester depot?Langdons must be kicking themselves having just moved out of the old Blakes depot in Redditch - I bet Alcester would have been ideal for them.
Anyone have any idea who might be interested?

No one who owned it before ES is still in business. Blakes built it; they sold out to Express Dairies, who in turn sold out to Corby Chilled. They morphed into Innov@te and got swallowed by ES.
There are still a few in chilled distribution left - maybe someone we’ve never heard of.
You forgot Arla Dairies, worked their continiously for 14 years right from Blakes to Stobart, they made me retire, said I was too oldNov. 2010.
Anymore news on closure, not seen anything in press recently, have they set a date. Had many good years and memories, fanastic camaraderie between drivers, sorry to see it close, I suppose in hindsight it was the right move.
