I am sure you are aware of the company I am on about Sorry about the ZB Dodge
Anyways, quick one. Anyone know what the Tracking app is like? I don’t have an iPhone so can’t find out.
Surely it can’t be a good idea, being tracked all day by anybody? Disclosing all night out locations etc.
I have done a bit of work for them in the past and never thought about it until someone told me that an app exists for all the sad eddie spotters. Huge security problem?
I do feel bad for stobart drivers having to deal with spotters if it was me I would of lost the head with them by now but I have never heard of a stobart driver doing that so good on them. I bet everyone one on here knows a stobart fan
You’d have to know whether or not there’s anything worth nicking. But I do agree, I wouldn’t want to be tracked all over the place. Christ, you can’t even get a dodgy load in nowadays.

Put it this way. You see someone go into somewhere like Panasonic in Northampton. There is a very high chance that the trailer is full of tvs or valuable electronics. Once upon a time, a thief would have to follow you around. now every man and his dog can track you from their own phone or tablet.
Worst is parking in a nice quiet out of the way layby and a anorak wearing weirdo turning up to take a photo. Or while having a wash outside the cab turning round and seeing a small child writing down your fleet number.

I’d have thought the worst would be crawling out from under the reefer after just taking a wild crap
I haven’t yet had the pleasure of working for this legendary livery but was wondering if agency drivers also have to wave at the spotters ?
Also in wave styles are we talking a full on ‘Tang wave’ or just more of a queeny flick of the wrist.
Would it be instant dismissal if approached by a spotter and you told them to F right off…
The one I feel sorry for is that young chap who they portray as not very good, think he was the one who had to be pulled off that muddy track as he stuck his truck into auto instead of manual on that turf collection job.

Fortunately the few shifts I did for them were nights, so not many spotters about. I saw a few passengers in cars looking at the fleet number on the door but that was about it.
Worst one was nearly every stobart vehicle coming the opposite direction on the motorway decided to flash me… I didn’t bother flashing back, I would be at it all night…lol
The app posted before is not the right one. The one in question is only available on iPhone/iPad.
A wall into the woods for me. Would never ■■■■ under the trailer and would push anyones face in it if I caught them doing it. Problems under a trailer aren’t helped by crawling around in someones turds.
I’ve been approached by spotters, even working for agency without the uniform on. Had various friends ask if I can get autographs for their kids too. Errrr no, unfortunately they don’t hand out Mark Dixons phone number during the interview.
