Seen what used to be Jock’s Cafe at Colnbrook many times on tv, on The Sweeney and Fools and horses to name 2.
Also that cafe. off the M1 at the A5 junction,.was watching a London gangster movie one night and thet were sat in there having breakfast.
I watched the drama series A Confession a couple of months ago and the opening scene featured Martin Freeman and John Thompson sat at a table in Watling street truckstop Flamstead

if it looked like they were enjoying their meal there, then they must be great actors.

Funny you should say that they only had a cup of tea
When the Orange Riots were happening in Kiev in 2004 I was watching the BBC news coverage with my ex and I said “Oh, look, that’s the main Post Office. You see that flat above it on the far right, I shagged some Ukrainian bird in there”.

If you are thinking of the hijack scene in the Sweeney. That was shot at the Riverside.

I’m sure there’s a scene of the Consul pulling out of there, not sure if it’s the episode you’re on about or not.
Just remind me where the Riverside is/was.

Ok.
There was another scene where they were on a stake out in the back of a Transit, on the truck park at Heston services

I remember watching that and wondering why a Wiltshire cop based in Swindon would “nip” out to meet a mate for a brew and end up just north of London. I just assumed that his sat nav was crap or that Swindon truckstop was too dire as a setting!
I remember recognising The Silver Ball on the old A10 as a setting for a scene in some crime movie I watched.
I recognise a lot of places on TV for obvious reasons, but a few years since there was a series called Country Cops which followed a rural police force in North Yorkshire. My local plod in fact.
In one scene they were talking to a copper by a main road and one of my old trucks went past in the background. I wasn’t driving it though.
Was watching an episode of Traffic Cops or Road Wars, I can’t remember which one now, and one of the episodes was of a cash machine robbery at one of our shops. Quite surreal as the day before I drew money out from the same machine…obviously months after the incident
i was tippping in a old rail yard behind kings crossin london.when i reliased that it was used for a scene in fast and furious films.when i pointed it out to the guys they said no its not till i exspainded the scene to them.where the the ladies went to talk to guy about a high power kit car and guys watch from a distance then gun fight started.then they said yes ur right.place is now full of apartment blocks.
Not a TV programme but a music video
The pub in Paul mcca’s Wonderfull Christmas time , is in Ashurst West Sussex and still open and trading , but the coach firm Ron’s who owned the Transit mini bus with all the Santa’s in is long since gone , went bust or was brought by Worthing coaches which is part of Lucketts now
