The pub in Paul mcca’s Wonderfull Christmas time , is in Ashurst West Sussex and still open and trading , but the coach firm Ron’s who owned the Transit mini bus with all the Santa’s in is long since gone , went bust or was brought by Worthing coaches which is part of Lucketts now
Often wondered where that pub was.
I watched a drama a few years ago with John Thaw and Sarah Lancashire (we were all sat in my front room 
)
They were in the old Victoria pub in Stoke on Trent, opposite where the old Stoke City football ground was, I recognised it immediately, I was only in there a couple of nights previously.
