Maybe it stands for belonging to “Company Directors” and “Doctor von Dumbarse” bearing in mind that both up also up for “recycling” as the board suggests!

It amazes me that a company the size of Tesco are putting up signs with grammatical errrors.

I thought it should say 94p and 96p :stuck_out_tongue:

Birmingham Motorcycle Museum had a sign outside at the end of 2010 saying Xmas Party’s. I e-mailed them and suggested that such a prominent sign should be spelt correctly. They replied saying it was too late as it was already there. At the end of 2011 the same sign was erected with the same mistake.

No, CDs and DVDs is wrong, it should be C’D’s and D’V’D’s, as apostrophes should replace all missing letters. :wink:

I think it originally read “No HGV’s Vehicles”
