This was in June and I was done at 68 in a 50 but never paid it as I was a bit peeved, have a letter giving me another go at paying it but this says 65 in a 50.

Do they not have to get these things bang on for legal purposes and could I get off on a technicality with the Ticket saying 68 and the PF letter saying 65.

Problem is I dunno if this applies in Scotland…

You’ve been exceptionally unlucky mate and it does seem more that a tad unfair… but like many motorists and pro drivers they think that just because it’s dark and out of normal working hours for the majority that Pc Plod and the speed limits have gone AWOL. As you have found out…that’s not so. Speed limits and Plod are in force 24/7. Unlucky mate…extremely unlucky but that’s the way the cookie crumbles. Sorry.
