I was clocked last Dec16 on fixed camera A5 close to Shrewsbury and did driver awareness course back home in NI.

Once did 177 on the a38 between alfreton and the m1.
Probably gone down if i’d been clocked.

You claim she was allowed to drive your car on her insurance ? … it would state on her policy, insured TPO only on other cars or not permitted.

As for the car, under 165 RTA the vehicle will be seized … impounded and you prove the vehicle is insured or crushed.

Why would your wife be any different.?

You got clocked by 3 different speed camera’s ? At different times ?

This is a wind up completely or trolling.

So there’s a presumption of guilt until proven otherwise. Got to love this country.

I have been out of the UK since 2011, but, I recall my insurance certification, clearly showing you were allowed to drive another persons car , or not allowed etc…

Only baffling think is, I was a named driver on wife’s car and vice versa … it didn’t cost extra, so why would Dozy not do the same …

Sadly, it will always prove innonce rather than guilt.

mine was £120 and was in bournmouth[I live in Swindon and no course near me],no you don’t have a choice as to when you can take it,they tell you,on top of that you lose a day’s pay unless you book as a holiday, the cost of petrol getting to where it is plus parking if they don’t supply said parking, and on my one you have to go through stupid scenerio’s,but having said that I like the others were treated with respect, tea and biccies laid on,and it was a good crack/laugh,and you do learn from it,my only beef was I done doing 55 in a 50 limit[dual carriageway into bournmouth]they couldn’t let it go as that particular day they were doing zero tolerance on all vehicles[driving a van for the day]so was a little peeved when the speeding thingy came through the post, still better than points though

This!
It often brings the premium down too as they assume both drivers will be more careful if another person also drives the car. It doesn’t have to be a wife or relative either. A friend and I are both named on each other’s policy for this reason.
