That justifies it then
This country/government has an obsession with speed limits don’t speed and don’t pay into the coffers

thanks mate
Just don’t argue anything that is said, even if it is wrong. They have a script that they have to follow. If you argue, it will take longer

but if you were disciplined/ doing as you were told you wouldn’t be on a speed awareness course! ADVICE gladly given! think of the children next time PLEASE
you murdering juggernaut driver!
Think he was being sarcastic
I think I was as well, whoosh
Just done a SAC this morning in Plymouths fanciest hotel and with coffee n bickys. What was it, well it was along the lines of the CPC course but only
4 hours long. Lecturers, male/female did well, reasonably interesting but it was almost identical to a CPC course I did on speed/driving and road things.
I was done for speeding in Grantham and was able to do the course in Plymouth at the cost of £85.4 other lorry drivers were attending and all thought it
was a better option than points and a fine but was it really useful, perhaps for the local punters but I left the lecture…‘feeling the need for speed’.
I was done in Kings Lynn 12 months ago and given the option of a SAC which is a no brainer to the fine and points.
The SAC is run by your local council, NOT the police.
I was given a long list of possible places I could take the course and I settled for one half a mile from home, but at the last minute I had to change it and was able to take it at Port Vale football ground.
It was taken by a guy who runs a driving school and one of his female instructors, and was interesting and informative.
I was the only truck driver there, and the instructor kept asking me to explain the different speed limits for trucks as opposed to cars, which most of the car drivers were ignorant about.

I just got a letter through saying I’d been clocked at 39 in 30 and I was offered the course as it’s been a few years since last log of points and licence was clean again. The points option is cheaper though and I don’t need to spend a day listening to ■■■■■■■■ so took that option.

I believe you can have a choice of venues. Theyre mostly run by the AA. Better than the points and fine, also a tad cheaper. Just make sure its 3 years plus before you get caught again. Its a bit rough copping a fine for 34 mphthough??

Sounds like good marital advice.
I did mine years ago when it was 7 bours, quite informative to be fair and helped my driving style be more social than antisocial.
Got to choose location near me, unfortunately spearmint rhino wasn’t a venue option.
Oh 46 in a 40 but fair cop as I was in me car and drastically reducing speed from 60 when I saw the van too late as I was on the phone.

Hmmmmm, are you sure about that drive…?
