To sum up how different my day was to a standard DoZy day
I had a reasonable start time with a n achievable collection time ,
When thing went ■■■■ up at collection my office answered the phone ,and when I told them traffic was terrible and couldn’t make it back , I didn’t get the blame
When I left the yard I was half expecting to night out , so I had gear water and decent food also planned where I was going to park up for the night
So I’ve parked up before hitting 13hours duty , I’ve had a hot meal and I’m parked up on a nice quiet industrial estate not a lay by on the A34
Oh and it’s all time and half payed as well [emoji16]

Despite having the MAG IPTV tv box that I’ve got With access to a 1000+ tv channels (PPV, sports, 3pm, movies on demand etc), from around the world (inc UK, USA/Canada, France, Spain, Poland, Italy, India etc) I still can find a decent thing to watch

Well, I did Nuneaton to Bodmin and back today and while the trip down was flat to the mat, the return journey was a nightmare and I ended up driving for 10 hours 29 minutes. I don’t carry night out gear and I don’t do nights out any more anyway so I did a printout instead. If the VOSA, the client or the agency aren’t happy with that then they can just sit and swivel.

I don’t know mate, I put the bait out and you didn’t bite. 
Abingdon you say, I could have pointed you to a good pub with a well lit up lay by to park, and only 15 miles away.
You say you don’t drink, but you would have got a bloody good meal there …AND last time I was in that pub there was a hen party on, just ripe for butch truckers like yourself. 
Needless to say I went back to the cab early that night…yeh you guessed it on my own, I clearly wasn’t rugged and butch enough .
