hi all,
sorry to bore you  ,had a few members call and pm asking about the progress on my truck.a picture paints a thousand words  .

More polishing for you to do. . I like the shape of the rear wings and the underslung mountings.

You’ll need sunglasses on whenever your in the cab now.

pete 359:

Hello, to everyone. Andrew, those mudguards are superb, body/ panel beating craft at its best in design and workmanship.
The cockpit is also superb, not over the top but adds character to the truck.

Regards Paul

hi john,
that photo was taken by me in raymond’s trailer yard in 1984.it’s now the site of a red and white modern warehouse.thanks for the kind words mate.
regards andrew

took a stroll past the old rom river site in risca today , all traces now gone and a housing estate built there, I not sure but I think they moved further up the valley.Mechanic 77 may know their whereabouts. As a youngster I can remember the lorries in and out of there with the steel wire and mesh. I think BRS did some work and owner drivers others. There was for a number of years an ergo cabbed AEC on site for internal shunting. Sorry took no photos , never got round to it and now wish I had.

regards
