Hi guy’s just wanted to know if any of you have any more pictures of the Hill’s Transport fleet or any detailed information about the company itself.
Regards Simon.

This is G. J. William’s vehicle. was sold to Hillcroft Recovery & I believe is still on the road■■?

Was that the basis for their 3 axle underlift? If so I beleive its still going after approx 10 years with them.

There was an earlier ‘welsh connection’ Scania a streamline 4x2 in similar colours, I remember it being run by WT Smith from Newport.

Im pretty sure its thats vehicle mechanic77, used to see it quite regular when they recovered vehicles into us & the old 142 that Glovers(Celtic recovery) had, but don’t see them anymore.

Hi Gents

Someone has asked the Caitlin House Transport Project for any information on Seth Hill’s quarry in Bonvilston. So far I have found the following vehicles; 235 & 6 WTX Bedford TK tippers, HTG 943 D Leyland Comet tipper, STG 887 F Leyland Retriever Tipper. Can anyone remember any more?

Some shots from the camarthen Truck show.

A company has approached the Caitlin House Transport Project with a possibilty of it donating a Ford Cargo 0813 dropsider for preservation. Is there anyone out there who would help form a consortium to take this on board? Is there somewhere it can be stored whilst the work is done on it? The company has owned it from new in January 1992 and retired it in 2008. It can be driven on a car licence so anyone in the future could take it on road runs etc. Pity to see the scrappie take it away.

Please let me know, groups are formed to save buses, so why can’t we do this for a cute little lorry?

This vehcile was pdi at Silurian Scania, first of the two pedal opti-cruise vehicle to come through us.
