Nice photos from the show Andrew, thanks for sharing them.
Is this a TK cab on a Km chassis, or just a KM wing? Looks a bit wide to me. She looks nice either way.
As a kid spent many a Saturday with my cousin and grandfather at Abergavenny market, buying and selling sheep and horses. The best part was observing all the livestock trucks and tractors with tralers.
Regards Paul
Could be an ex electric board TK,or some other utility,by the wing and clearance.
Cheers Dave.
I reckon this was a KM tipper, restored with an easier available TK ex-army cab. Still looking at the crane which we all seem to think is a Thornycroft. Good to see sixties & seventies stuff again after a little break.
I think we cracked it, If you check page 142 on Daves border thread he has an army 4x4 with the same cab and wings. NZ Jamie said its off a KHE model.
Chers Paul
Gāday,
Paul john mate, the Bedford on page 142 of Daveās thread is an MK,which is a different version again of the āTKā style Bedford. The MK is a 4x4 version with the same front wheel arches as a KM and as a KHE,but it has a slightly lower head lights and a small side light fitted and also a different bumper with cut outs for the lights.
I still reckon that this truck is a KHE and not a TK cab on a KM chassis. Iāll get my anarack now.

That would be Edgar Williams, I heard a little while ago that Edgar owned a Rolls Royce and could not sell it, so when he sold the bungalow / yard whoever bought the site he threw the Roller in with the deal, Peter Hiscock ran Leyland 8 wheeler tipperās from the same yard in the same coulourās, There was also Llyndsey Hiscock who ran a small fleet of Scammels and Leyland 8 wheeler tippers from Siginstone, he was known locally as the mad monk !! The house in the back ground was owned by Stuart Hiscock an owner operator with a J.C.B for many years
