South Wales Hauliers sixties and seventies onwards (Part 1)

i have often wondered what she did and who owned her before me and scooter1.she was registered g410 mkh,a hull or east yorkshire registration as far as i am aware.

seen here at the farm of west wales dealer/exporter bruce charles.i think scooter1 bought it from jack eames who owns j.g.e. commercials in leighton buzzard.

always one for an eye for detail, this truck even has the kitchen sink…well a cooker !¬ LOL

not quite South Wales Hauliers, but near enough when your from North Wales…enjoy

proper lorry…not, good old road trains, I know how you loved em Andrew

woops, my fat fingers copied the wrong one!

Here you go, nice old ERF, East meets West eh!, coupled to my old trailer from behind the F10, sold to fun another project in 2009

GFC on top of Shap, and who is that behind us, its that erant entry Jasun Dean!, another great and memorable run out Mr Cooper

cant remember if I posted this before, but a blast from the past!m y 1st restoration back in early 1993

Where the Steelboys started, 2002?, AC’s magnificant F88, next to latest offering from Volvo, I know which I prefer!

Did Alcan have a place in South Wales, I thought they did?

My F10, July 2000, when I drove her home from Duffields yard in Norfolk, prior to turning the truck into the current Volvo demo colours, a stable mate for ACs F88, and F16, more recently keeping up, we nearly with Project Peterbilt!

Again, not quite south wales, but a loverly little F7, now in Ireland, but Trevor Pye is restoring another, TP runs a very tidy fleet from Wem in Salop, and a great supporter of the Volvo brand, still running a Y reg F12

Last one for tonight…proper transport yard on a Saturday morning, you can just hear the boss telling us to wash those B…dy trucks off, and get off before 12.00, and double time!
LOL
