hi paul the shillibier scania was painted by my son stephen handley in our workshop in thier wisdom shillibiers decided to send one of thier drivers to hand paint the steel body while we preped the cab, reminded me of the davies bros days when they brush painted everthing

sammydog, thanks. Schillibers two tone blue with the white looked the part on their 6 wheel Leyland Bison and 8 wheel Octopus.
Nothing could replicate the paint jobs on Davies Bros tippers, preperation or detail not one of their strongest points.
Having said that, previous posts said they sold the business for a nice chunk of change! That green paint was hiding their business plan!
Regards Paul

Yea Chris but fair doโ€™s the Atki was a few years older than the ERFs but looking closely at the shots โ€“ those Read lads seemed to like their Kirkstall HR axles !! Cheers Bewick.

One of Richard Readโ€™s pictured last summer.

and here is another from the convoy.

seen on last yearโ€™s bournemouth to bath road run.shaun swain restores old trucks in pencader west wales.i think this 8 legger and drag looks fantastic a proper wagon in my opinion.

my peterbilt 359 makes quite a contrast parked next to a customers scania that we resprayed last summer.
