this late stock tga 8 wheeler was another we did for man uk.several weeks after it left us,the operator cancelled the order.

i was allways under the impression that this forum was for as title "south wales haulies sixties and seventys etc not of look who s trucks ive painted , also if i was the owner of s&k transport i would not take kindly to being called skint and knackered these people have probably had to work exremley hard to keep thier transport buisness going in very hard times .any haulier to reads these forums will know how difficuilt it is to actually run any transport buisiness these days ,unlike the people who just play at it .

Don’t start a war on this thread please sammy dog,its a good thread don’t spoil it.
Cheers Dave
dave im not starting a war all im saying is that i used to be a haulage contractor and my buisness went bust through partly the ressession whats the point in taking the mick out of people who have to work hard at thier buisiness is that fair if you have an opinion they should keep to thierselves and not post on here.
You have made your point sammy dog, better if you had sent a pm to him. But if you have suffered as a lot in the haulage and other industries have.I can see its thorny issue, not good in this country at the moment.
Cheers Dave.

Hey there Sammy dog don’t get your knickers in a twist !! Its a well known crack throughout the haulage world that firms are usually given a " nom-de-plume" some fairly decent ! some not so but in the main they can be taken as terms of endearment not to be taken literally as you are doing !! I remember two firms that amalgamated in ■■■■■■■ that were referred to as the “50 bob sqaderon” and one of the owners was the Millionaire owner of Carlisle Truck Inn !! Ufortunatley if the cap or description fits there is little you can do but ignore it or grin and bear it !! But I’m sure there is no malice meant !! And while were on who can or ever could play at running a haulage buisness ?How do you make a Million in Haulage ■■? Start with 2 Million !! Cheers Bewick.

hi dennis,
that was one of the better trucks on the convoy,to be fair she wasn’t all that old, maybe 3-4 years at most?many others were worn out old soldiers, though i know what you mean, marathons…did you ever run any?if you did i can’t recall seeing one.they went well with a ■■■■■■■ in my opinion.
regards andrew
