yes chris he certainly was a character, my dad told me a few tales about him. then you had his brother! a character from john raymonds was Mad Al, he was as crazy as they come! got fed of being messed about by a security gaurd on one drop and ended up reversing the trailer through the gates! you dont get them like that anymore.

Hiya Andrew you young wipper snapper !! in the absence of further information I would think the Seddon might have had either the AEC 7.7 or the Leyland 375 engine and the Moss G/box & Moss axle !! one story i heard was that he went into a takeaway when he was parked up,a few boys tried it on and pulled the hood of his coat over his headā¦a few minutes later the only ones standing was norman and the guy behind the counter,one of the boys went through the window the rest were on the deck!
