i sold that erf in june 2000 to john thomas who then owned ken thomas transport wisbech.she had the fairly rare 14 litre 250hp ■■■■■■■ and a 9 speed fuller.she went well,though was very noisey inside the cab.last i heard that someone called taylor? from the manchester area bought it.

Thanks for the Info Andrew . I only ever ran one cu250 in a '75 sed-atk sleeper which was aquired via a firm I took over '76 but it was a thirsty motor so we got rid in Jan 77 and replaced it with an F88 !! Cheers Bewick.

Andrew you’ve put some really good photos on this site. Thanks from me.The Volvos and the Pete you have restored look magic, But for me that A series
ERF stands out in the crowd. Mind you we did give you some nice lines to work with on the A series…The black and white photo of the Canadian Dodge,
well where my dad worked in 1954 they had a 6 wheeler dump truck. I used to go around the yard in it riding shotgun i had to stand on the seat not bad
as i was only 4 at the time. …Don’t tell HSE will you…I have a photo of the Dodge I’ll see if I can find it.

Me again Andrew ! do you still have the A series ? I can see it has the Kirkstall axle what size engine and gearbox ? I ran a few A series 205/220 cu. & 180/240 LXBs . Cheers Bewick.

And another thing Andrew I forgot to ask about the trailer --naughty of me !! what make was it ,spec,length ,year ect. and was it loaded with tinplate Boyo ! Dennis.

she was a 1973 boden 32 foot tandem that i bought from rhp transport in telford.she was loaded? with timber pallets and expertly sheeted by my mate stan evans.it lives on now,she’s a fridge in daniel stewart blairgowrie livery.i sold that with my f88 in 2005.

my peterbilt going through the excelent truckwash at anzegem in belgium,back last summer.how is it that they do things like this better abroad?

the day after kelvin powell delivered my peterbilt to south cornelly.my nephew jacob sitting behind the wheel.

this picture was used by the vendor in west virginia for his ebay advert,taken outside the farmhouse in ravenswood w.v.

one of welsh transport giant owens road services many globetrotter fh’s.

this 2 month old fm came into us for some repair work last march after it hit a van near hereford.

paul barrow transport from bridgend have recently retired this ex john raymond fh12.

long established west wales cattle hauler patterson transport replaced an f12 globetrotter with this fh.

the long suffering nicola cooper with our son harry and travis perkins group transport manager grahame bellman,pictured at rockingham race circuit with a wickes daf.this was a very nervous moment for me as my wife was about to drive one of my mates daf artics with our son onboard!i had visions of rockingham looking like baghdad!! :smiley: :smiley: :smiley: :smiley:

Hi everyone,a couple more south wales photos my mate malcolm has sent me,hope they are ok.MERLIN, cant be any more help with the ELY TRANSPORT photo,mal says he cant remember where that photo was from,sorry cant be any more help.

A couple of nice pics there bernard,like the Scammell,those michelotti cabs always looked nice.
