for anyone who was wondering what this truck originally was.david a. davies who’s tippers featured several pages back tells me it’s a guy bigj tractor unit with an experimental v6 ■■■■■■■■■■■■ was nothing but trouble,i guess that this truck died very young and that is how there was so little left of it when i took this photograph back in 1996.

funny you should mention that,i’ve been looking for the album with that in and so far i still can’t find it.though i will keep looking.
stg 10y was a 1633s and the first merc. joints ever bought.in the spring of 1983 when they had it none of us could believe what a machine it was,remember until then joints had “invested” heavily in marathons and b series erf’s and the like,10y was like a space ship from another planet compared to the home grown motors they had been running. 
it will take you forever to get through that lot mate what are we up to? mandators and marathons,and the odd sk thrown in you got all the j200 hundred the 95 daf, k 600 i hope you’r loft is reinforced mate or should i say the archive’s keep up the good work…
