1970 Andrew that’s a section of the 500ton crane for the then new BOS plant
last one ,on the bridge at Stanton & staveley Ilkeston .

Lovely shot of the weigh bridge it wasn’t like that in the 80’s that park was full of trailers and units ,when viv was on the they would be queuing three lanes deep .good old days

Hi Dan that photo of Trevor Philips motor brings back some mems of a Lad a worked with at Smiles for Miles in the 60s Billy Watson a Welsh lad , Who married a gordie lass and settled Up in the North East, He drove for Trevor before moving to Tyne Side, he was a cracking bloke to work with, Regards Larry.

I used to go to the Bos plant often with bricks from DSF refractories and odd times with large table saws .
