Hi Peter, I don’t think so, Porth factory was quite a tight yard penned in by the valley, especially with an eight wheel Foden fully loaded for Chippenham, as I once recall! Plus I don’t think that was ‘photo shopped’

I think that I was told that 2 of my uncles had a connection with the Corona factory one was Cyril Rowlands and the other was Brynmor Williams who was a driver I think

Hi all,
I remember this 142 when it was owned by A.S.Griffiths in Bridgend and driven by trucknet member PERFection14.before all that, she was owned by a west wales operator and used running live fish to Spain…

Now Andrew, have you been to the Post Office and drawn out your £10,000 to buy a share in Port Talbot Works ? Cheers Dennis.

good morning dennis,
even though our fine? british government are doing their very best with the smoke and mirrors lies that they allow the media to post,i can’t see port talbot surviving tbh.who would want to invest? in something loosing 1 million pounds per day? in the past port talbot survived on the back of their consistent high quality steel.though now,as i understand it,the overseas steel mills are just as good and the product is alot cheaper to buy…
regards andrew.

Hiya Andrew, hope you are keeping well and very busy Mate, unfortunately what you say is sadly correct and I suppose that if the workforce were to work for zero wages ( which they can’t of course) the works still couldn’t make a profit and on the other hand if they got all their power and raw materials for nowt they still couldn’t make a go of it either. That young windbag Kinnock is just like his Old man---- full of ■■■■ and that family has taken no harm from it’s involvement with the EU gravy train and Old man Kinnock couldn’t win a ■■■■■■■ raffle when he was an MP but sure has done well at the EU Cheers Dennis.
