I can think of at least one regular on this thread,who will recognise this location instantly :exclamation: The question is,who owned the d series and red tilt?

Swansea steel were owned by oaken gates of Telford we used to take steel up there

The first artic I drove was a GUY Big J with 180 Gardener the reg number was VWN 475 H does any one recall this truck Buzzer.

The half acre was a very popular stop on the way to Gloucester, I remember it when a kid it used to be well lit up like a nightclub, Was used by Hill’s drivers in the 60s along with another Cafe on the A48 called the Populars.
