Hi Andrew, that Scania was driven by dai feeley ,his old man was in the traffic office on nights I had that with carline then it was fitted with a switch under the ash tray which meant it could shift you know what I mean

Two more courtesy of Tony singleton.the Balfour liveried fl was owned by blue line and used 24/7 on the sinter dust run from south cornelly quarry to the abbey.the merc was in my opinion,the last eight wheeler to carry the name blue line transport.
That F12 was new to Colin and Linda Wilshaw from west wales!
At the time of the picture, the F12 was owned by a guy from wick area,(vale of Glamorgan), daryll ■■?..it was bought to pull a tanker out of Bridgend creamery…

ec14,i remember you and i visiting the wilshaw"s five years ago,i thought that f12 was colin’s old one.i also remember seeing it many times on the a48 when working for bridgend creamery.ffs! for reasons never made clear to me? this foden photo has to be posted upside down,sorry….

Yes that’s him.he also subbed to joint motorways with that merc,or if he didn’t? Someone did,I can’t remember the drivers name tbh.smallcoal I think? You mean the guy from church village near Pontypridd? Not sure if they were related?

The owner driver from church village was mike toms, started with an old l plate f88 and later bought an f10, now long retired
