Hi dai, that dragon badge was made by blue line in tondu where the trailers was made

Thomas,s named the trailers Dragon, for Dragonline shipping, some of the trailers were m&g,they also had some of those American 40ft skellys trailers.

Hello AndrewPorter, thank you for the info on DWN 854K. Icouldnt remember if LEU was a J or K.yes it was bought off Five Transport nr Pontardawe. it had a tipper gear on it. I cant remember the guy who drove it. it was used on the Leicester route. Take tinplate to Metal Box Leicester tip and reload. Drop the trailer and pick up the loaded trailer of scrap take it to Sheffield tip it and back empty to Leicester drop trailer and pick up loaded trailer for s.wales, I think he did it twice a week Dai.

LEU 143 K , a Breconshire number ! Wonder if it was formally Stephens and Chambers Brecon ? regards Keith .

LEU came from five transport, pontardawe, but I.T.S, did buy 2 second hand tippinp trailers off Stevev chambers.

I remember the “Pop Man” in the Rhondda making his deliveries in this TK in the 80’s :smiley:

We had them in Leeds as well but not sure were depot was, think they also had some 8 wheeled Fodens as well hope someone has some pics of them

they had depot at tong st bradford near associated weavers back of lex tillotsons big spot may have served leeds.
