South Wales Hauliers sixties and seventies onwards (Part 1)

Hi all,
Mansel Davies have just taken this 2002 fh off front line service after 1.8 million km’s.more recently driven by Carl “Carlos” jones.

Here you go Komatsu450 . We found a few pictures atlast. Dads first truck was the F10 running as Windmill Haulage (now Gerald Williams Haulage) from Wick just outside Bridgend mainly hauling coal and coke up around derby and Sheffield from about mid eighties to early nineties.

One of dads new Scanias he bought while running for Tarmac . The first truck he had was a Foden 4380 bought off Nicky Harris to start his service in Cornelly.

Now both of us running out of Cornelly quarry in these two .

Thanks oily.inverness is a fair old way north of llanpwmsaint :laughing: .an Atki here from Davies and Meredith of brynmawr.

This is MUH 198P brand new. (shown on an earlier page in the new colours as a shunter) on her first trip with a load of cosmetics from Loreal in Llantrisant to one of their warehouses in London.

Seen today at Showa Aberdare, been standing there since 2008 , just been sold for £4000 !! as told by an employee there
