hiya,
Ah’ Gwynne Bowen always good for a backload, and according to one of my bosses was an OK payer
thanks harry, long retired.

Hey “H” now see that Bowen Foden ! I bet it’s loaded with tin plate just look at the sheet “nipped” into the dropsides !! I wonder if it was a single drive ?Probably eh! I can re-call they still ran one or two of that model when we were down in S.Wales in the mid/later '60’s.Happy days,Cheers Dennis.

Hiya,
Yes Dennis you can just see little tufts of the sheet poking out between the chock rail
and the sides, that wont blow out, that tin plate made a nice flying load, but I doubt
you would get airborne with the old Foden.
thanks harry, long retired

Well Harry it looks like its got 40 by 8s, Or 900 x 24s So I would think its top speed with the old Gardner Engine & a 12 speed box would be about 48 MPH Depending on the diff ratios, Happy days when driving was good , Not like to-days ■■■■■■ Regards Larry.
