Hi all,
Spied these loggers fuelling up near work recently.very rare to see a uk fh with this spec.as the driver of the fh pulled away i thought she sounded like an I-shift?

Hiya,
Nice to see working motors without all that unnecessary bling, It looks great
on show motors but on stuff still earning a crust no way the majority of the
“additions” ie’ lights etc cannot be legally used because of how and where it’s
located, I once got stopped by an over zealous lawman for having a matched
pair of fog/spot lamps set too low and I didn’t fit them and had only been
fitted because the wagon, an old Albion, had just about lost it’s “vision” due
to the headlamp reflectors having become so tarnished it was like driving in
constant darkness, I only got away without a booking because I uncoupled a
wire at the switch so they wouldn’t work, of course refitting it about two lay
bys later.
thanks harry, long retired.

Here is a bit of bling on livestock from West Wales… Hope you approve Harry!

Hiya,
Nothing personal you understand but I just can’t understand why carry all that
additional lighting when you aren’t allowed to use it, I personally would make
do with the factory fitted lighting and why those air horns when the vehicle
manufacturer fits the bill with a perfectly adequate electric one, just not me.
thanks harry, long retired.

Mr Ward your collection is getting better and better - 141, f89 and Transconti - icons of the 70s long haulers! I’d sell a kidney to have a drive in any of them just for the experience (already ticked a 143 off the list! ).

Glad you don’t seem keen to pollute the ranks with one of those german Bedfords with the chav-magnet badge that some seem to be trying to talk you into!

Sell a Kidney jesus its only a lorry… :exclamation:

Exaggeration for effect Cliffy  don’t mean I’d literally sell a kidney! I was a truck mad kid in the 70s and the trucks of the era hold a special fascination for me - I never had the chance of experiencing that from the driver’s seat when they were in daily use. I promise I wouldn’t say that about something modern!

A 143 12 speed box topliner would be bad to beat

well sime 17 nows your chance pm regards rowly

M&C Jamie:
What about this cracker that slipped off the back of a lorry in South wales this morning.

Well done Rowly it’s gone to a great home. What a fantastic purchase, looks nothing short of superb it must be said. Adrian
