Cheffins auction at Malvern on sat cancelled due to foreign imports by one of the welsh contingency

Hi Lance, because Bewick said I cant bid they cancelled the day so I thought I’d buy a Transcontinental instead.

This lovely ■■■■■■ was bought from Mr Vayanis in Athens, Greece. It was found by my good friend Costas [gr diesel] who I cant thank enough, a brilliant fellow who found it for me and has helped me loads over last few months.
Then Karl Skilton [Richmond on the thread] trading as Harleywood haulage had his driver pick it up for me. After tipping a silo in Hungary he went on to pick it up in Athens having to wait 4 days the driver Dave is a top man and fetched it all the way to my house, true professsional, lovely bloke.
Then two of my mates M+C Jamie and Neil [mechanic77] put the photos on here .I would like to thank you all for all your help, my best regards Rowland.

Mr Ward your collection is getting better and better - 141, f89 and Transconti - icons of the 70s long haulers! I’d sell a kidney to have a drive in any of them just for the experience (already ticked a 143 off the list! ).

Glad you don’t seem keen to pollute the ranks with one of those german Bedfords with the chav-magnet badge that some seem to be trying to talk you into!
