Interesting to read about volvo in castleton we had 2 daf 85 tractors stolen in ocober and one of those was found in castleton also burnt out and just cab left to identify it, local called police but they were late getting there and culprits had gone, second daf never been recovered

In the 80’s blue line dropped a loaded trailer in Cardiff loaded with timber he came back in morning only thing left Wes the trailer frame they stripped load and super singles of it looks like tractor unit theft is starting again gypsys most probs
I didn’t think there was much export on a Perkins /rolls ,when you consider that a F12 engine and box will make thousands ,why pinch a E12 other than the fact they are a great British lorry!
