hi all,
here is one of our romanian friends  experiencing sat-nav issues in abercynon

hello andrew,
Dont think it,s abercynon as i live there,it is the Old Bwl above Ynysybwl the back road that will take you to llanwonno and ferndale as well as to mountain ash,it is a bit on the tight side for sure.

Hi graham,
I reckon your right mate :sunglasses: . It was the bridge near Garth bakery.what are these “driver’s” thinking :open_mouth: :unamused:
Regards andrew.

That bridge near Garth bakery is locally known as the Quarter mile bridge,I seen my fair share of mishaps there over the years.

Hi all, Graham and Andrew I looked at that shot and thought it may of been the road that crossed over from Abercynon to Mountain Ash. That one was tight, and Iirc Graham there was a coal yard there as well, or was that further up towards Aberdare.
I was out with my mate from Mountain Ash earlier and meant to ask him the name of the road, and the colliery. Phillip’s coaches had a depot in the Mount and ran a bunch of ex Merthyr Corporation Leyland double deckers on school contracts.

Regards Paul.

Lance Biscomb:
Are there any steel boys going to Donnington tomorrow night?

Brrrrrr to cold !!! I guess the bloke with a new series 1 FH will go on Saturday

Hello Paul ,that particular road you are talking about is called the quarter mile bridge,a very nasty bend on it,it brought you over from the A4059 Cardiff road to the B4275 Abercynon road which indeed took you passed Phillips coach depot in penrhiwceiber and on to mountain ash where you could rejoin the A4059 by the old town hall,Paul the coal yard you mean was situated in the old Abergorki colliery in mount.

You are obviousy short of some decent material to-night Andrew,so you better have an interlude shot while you find some good shots :frowning: PS IIRC my brother Richard is at the wheel of this Atki,no prizes for guessing which Atki,? you’ve guessed it,the one that could beat every one of JR’s 8LXB Atkys out of South Wales “hands down” :sunglasses: :sunglasses: Cheers Dennis.

Not that boring. looks like an Eaton 2 speed. Good day at Donnington
