On the above mention DVD I have there is a blue transcontinental with white stripes and I noticed on Wales online news from April of this year there is an article on mrs t and the miners ,then on a haulier called Brian chiltern from croespenmaen near crumlin who got his w reg transcontinental burnt out for taking part in the ore convoys,could it be the same one? I can post the DVD if anyone has the means to post it on here its 38 mins long if anyone is interested pm me your address .

hi keith, your right it is Swansea docks. I do know that the erfs were bought one at a time by M&R COMMERCIALS.
I wonder how many of the old hauliers from South Wales are still going, I used to run to S/W, 50/60S Era with fire bricks from Henry Fosters Brick works at Backworth [Now closed down} Smiles for Miles whom I worked for had the work & we used to deliver RTBs Newport, Plus the ones at The Margam, Etc, & Re-load off Gwyn Bowen from Bryngwyn Mill for the Metal Box Co, At Westhoughton Lancs. Plus Smart & Browns at Spennymoor, & a firm at Keighley that made some sort of door seals for cars, I enjoyed those good old days when every one was friendly apart from the odd one or two, I could do it all again if it were possible, Regards Larry.
