Hi all,
My mate stan loaded this transformer and earlier today took it to Pyle for recycling.
Hi, I would like to thank Graham Bellman (steelboyF10 ) for the DVD’s of the Steelboy’s run’s. Being a good mate with Lance Biscomb I had heard about the run’s but due to living in Australia for the last 17 years I had not seen any of the run’s. I am hoping to have a holiday next year back in the UK so I will try and catch up with some of you including Pete 359 who helped organise the DVD’s. Once again THANK’s Mate really appreciate it,
Ian Bagot

hi Andrew, this new relief road your on about must be the best kept secret in wales.our trucks( forest of dean caravans) go up and downpast there everyday, never seen any signs or building going on, so it wasa bit of a shock to see it. where does it start and finish?

Hi bazztrucker,
I see your trucks regularly on the m4.tell your drivers that if they are west bound and the two lane m4 over margam, taibach and port talbot is slow moving, they exit at jct.38 go half a mile down the dual carriageway at the new first roundabout take the second exit and pic up the new relief road over what was the old b.s.c. rugby pitches, this new road runs between the main London to South Wales railway line and the abbey.just follow your nose and you will link up with the dual for the original Briton ferry bridge, alternativley if east bound come over the old ferry bridge and rejoin the m4 at jct.38.they have probably been building this road for the past 4/5 years incorporating a new entrance to the abbey also.
Regards andrew.

here’s one for harry gill.
hiya,
Never drove the Albion version, but always fancied having a go for comparison
sake, when doing the Scottish run regularly in the late 50s one belonging to a
Caledonian depot used to overtake me seemingly quite easily, offering me the
obligatory box of matches to set mine on fire, mine being the Octopus, fairly
to me I would have been around six tons heavier than him me pulling a trailer
and him solo never saw him parked though so never got chance to compare
notes, they were quite numerous in the day but can’t remember ever parking
up to one pulling a drag, I must be old having driven more elderly versions of
the Leyland prior to that cab.
thanks harry, long retired
