As it happens emigrated 22 years ago today, to the day in fact. Wow, time fly’s. Today still being Monday here.

I would take that F12 of Mansell Davies any day over any American truck, or the first tractor unit I had on my own, an F reg ERF 6x2 twin steer 14l 320 ■■■■■■■■ Eaton twin splitter. I always regret not holding on to her, as I was needing a second unit and was offered a good deal on identical Merc 2035s. It must of been the red and white colours that swayed me, but must admit they both served me well.
All a long time ago, now my time is taken up by two American females, my daughter and girlfriend . Both wear red, white and blue proudly, as they should. Just have to squeeze a little green in and all will be ok,lol.

One of their drivers was killed on the A5/483 just above Oswestry a few years ago. A car overtaking hit him head on and pushed the artic over the barrier,several cattle were killed going down over. I think it was on the Glyn Ceiriog viaduct.

The new m4 relief road is now open in port talbot,runs parallel with the abbey,it’s all changed since I was in there last.
